Empty Room Studios is pleased to announce our first contest! We'd like to give our loyal customers an opportunity to show us how they've been using our various 2D tile sets, and the chance to win fame, fortune, and glory! Well, maybe just some fortune in the form of free stuff.

Contest Details
The basic premise of the contest is to create an awesome layout using any ERSP gaming tiles. These include our Dungeon Tiles, City Tiles, World Tiles, and Cavern Tiles. What we want to see are either innovative layouts, extremely large layouts, or a combination of both.

Entry Rules
Contestants must follow these rules when submitting an entry:

• Create a map/play area using any combination of our tile sets.
• No other companies tiles may be used, but you may have miniatures or other accessories in the photo.
• Layouts must be unique, and cannot be the layouts included in the tile sets.
• Your entry must be a photo of you or your gaming group using the tiles in an actual gaming session.
• All entries must be submitted by midnight Pacific Standard Time on Friday March 13th.

Judging
The judges for this contest will be me, Rick Hershey, and a guest judge yet to be announced. We will be judging each entry on the following criteria:

• Creative use of the tiles. Have you done something with the tiles we didn't think of? This includes custom made tiles using our textures or objects.
• Size and innovation of the layout. Remember though, David did defeat Goliath.
• Neatness of the tiles presentation. Sloppily cut out tiles will not fare well with the judges.
• Bonus points if you're using any of our other products in your photo.

Each category will be assigned a score from 1 to 10. One being should-just-throw-it-away-bad, and 10 being a super-awesome-great-job-good.

Prizes
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for the contest. Each place will receive the following prize:

• 1st - 10 free downloads of any current or future ERSP product from our online store.
• 2nd - 5 free downloads of any current or future ERSP product from our online store.
• 3rd - 3 free downloads of any current or future ERSP product from our online store.

How and When to Enter
All entries must be submitted by midnight Pacific Standard Time on Friday March 13th. To enter visit the Map Building Contest Entries section (will be up shortly), create a new topic with your name as the title, and post your photo/photos.

Please note that by entering this contest you give us permission to use your photo for advertising and promotional purposes.
